Do any of you guys have a trusted, quality place to have powder coating for the interior of a case done? I'm talking nice, clean finish with no shit in it and no fucked up threads. The equivalent of Red's plating service so to speak. :)
I know some of the online shops offer it as a service, but a) the two I've seen are those that shall remain nameless, and b) I've heard the quality is crap anyways :bird:
I found a local place on the internet that's just up the road from me:
http://www.propca.com/
But I have no idea how good they are. At one point I was going to go through Cyberdruid, but I thought I remembered seeing something saying he shut down his shop or stopped taking jobs or something.
Since the parts are mostly aluminum, I've thought about having them anodized somewhere locally instead, but not sure if that costs more than powder coating or not. Is one better than another?
In any case, if you guys have suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
