As I'm sure the entire USA is aware, our dollar is currently on par. Unfortunately, our prices are always sky high compared to our American friends.

So, I'm looking to pick up some hardware state-side... where, besides newegg, do you guys shop online?

I've used Mwave, Tiger Direct, and Zipzoomfly in the past without any issues. Never a ton of stuff at once, but all of them went Ok, FWIW.

I've bought some stuff from ewiz (super biiz) as well. I have to pay sales tax for tigerdirect which sucks, but they usually have the highest bing cashback rate to help cancel that out.
But, yeah, newegg is the number one site. They send out emails on tues, thurs, and fri for deals.

Thanks, thing is, TigerDirect and Newegg have Canadian affiliates, so they won't ship up here.

what are you going to be buying??I've got a custom case in the works, so I'm hoping to save some cash and buy parts while our dollar is strong... you'll have to check the build log to see what I buy ;)

amazon actually has some pretty damn good pricing on a lot of things.

I used to shop at zipzoomfly all the time. They have fair-ish prices, usually free shipping and they have their 'fly buy deals' which are like the shellshock's on newegg. Also a good idea to keep an eye on their other specials as now and again there are some amazing deals.

Gary is pretty flexible. If you contact him when he gets back from vacation, I bet you could work something out with him. (If those are the parts you're looking for)

I'm only about an hour of NY state, and my cottage is 10mins from Vermont... Time to search for UPS stores and shipping addresses :)
