And yes Greed, Marne is right on the money with the quoted advice. One of the best features of most mods is understatement. If you don't know what I mean by this, look at the amount of green in DingDong's Hulk v2 build (http://www.realredraider.com/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=96633&postcount=115). Another good example would be the amount of orange on the exterior of 8Lug's Orange Crush build. When done properly, understated color really makes a build stand out without being something that you can see from orbit (like anything from DFI). It's like the difference between Patrick Swayze and some 500-pound juiced up motherfucker who looks like L4D's Tank -- looking like the first one gets you pussy, the other one just makes them laugh at you.

Basically, the more you try to make it look flashy and awesome, the more you take away from the actual hardware; proper use of color in a build is there just enough to draw your eye straight to all the awesome hardware, while looking badass in the process -- look back to my link here again....

you need a 100mm bridge for evga boards m8,at least with mine it was 100mm, it sucks I know. but I have an extra one if it will help. shouldnt cost to much to ship and you can just have it. if you want I can post pics to show you the size difference to see if its what you need or not before sending it and haveing it be the wrong one.

If you haven't taken the plastic off the front, make sure you're careful taking it off; Early reviews mentioned that the plastic sometimes took some of the Corsair logo with it if you weren't careful....

Just a quick heads up Greed - the 90 degree lip that you made on the new piece of alu will hit the plexi on the side panel if you don't cut the original lip off the standard false floor which will enable you to move the whole new piece back 2 to 3mm.

Hard to explain but if you do a trail run with what you have made now and try and fit the side panel you will know exactly what i mean :)

MOAR!!! Looks like the Arduino is for the lighting, otherwise he wouldn't have done individual LEDs but used a strip instead. The extender board would allow him to solder on many LED contacts to the I/O of the board.

and if you flash to a newer bios version, you need to consider that your settings will not be good anymore, and need to search new stabile settings.

Most of the time a bios upgrade implement new things that is not always in order for you, example like support new cpu.

As long you don't buy that cpu, you don't have to upgrade bios.

Maybe look if you can have a newer version of CpuZ and EleetTuner, that maybe the new ones are more acurate.

Be carefull, Madmouse Glaciator only cools untill 200w, go over it, and you overshoot the tec's, the working of the TEC turns itself around, and start heating up instead of cooling down.

It's nice to see that you're going to use the controller at last from me.
Don't use a Meatl res, or to much metal fittings, that you don't get condensation.
you will need maybe also to isolate your socket. :D

yes oke the 640 is not a super uber score but it is on 5764 * 1080 pixel schaders on high text on medium so i think it is a prity good one for only 1 card on stock cooling

i will be putting it on water and pushing it even more

oh there is a second 6970 on my wish list :P But i need to say this single 6970 is cutting it very well !! i can play battlefield BC 2 on full res high graf and no problem with frame drops any game works great only metro 2033 and black ops is a bit bugged but the next hot fix will take care of that and even give a 20 to 35% boost in performance on black ops :D

the XFX stand is very decent yeah :D The only thing i dislike is that you can't lock the rotational movement on the individual screen holders so if you move em a bit they tend to get out of place but not that big of a deal :D

I ordered some MM sleeving recently, and I have yet to do it, I also sent Corsair an email over a week ago about getting another 24-pin and 8-pin for my PSU. Anything I should do to speed up the process?

So, any tips or tricks for the sleeving? Did you use a lighter or heat gun?

100% heat gun. From my expenience a lighter will only give you blackened sleeve and waves in the heat shrink
