I hate you. I really, truly, 100% from the bottom of my heart, hate you.

lol J/K great speeds man!

I live in the sticks, and the fastest connection I can get is 3MB/256kb which equates to 300kb down/50kb up on my transfer speeds. Completely sucks i know, but it's all we have out here.

Haha, I just played a round of L4D with 13ms ping. :D

My speedtest.net results show 0ms ping to Los Angeles... SPEED OF LIGHT BABY!

It's kind of a big deal to me because where I live because it is only available in certain areas. I used to have it a while back but when I got my new place they didn't have it. The new place I just moved in to does have it, so I was all over it like flies on :turd:

The other cool thing about it is the picture quality of FiosTV is freaking amazing. Cable HD is meh, DirecTV HD is fairly good, and Fios HD is crystal. Looks amazing on my 65" Mitsu; I could totally tell the difference once I hooked it up.

yah I live in orlando and Im still waiting for fios to be available here, Im definitely switching once I can get it at my house. Now that I have a nice 1080p HDTV I find cables HD selection horrible, and the picture sub-standard for sure

I'll speedtest for ya later tonight, but my last one was 30/5, so I'm not crying. Comcast cable, of all things...

It's "slow" tonight. I still think I have a nearly 10 mb/s faster one somewhere...

It IS late Saturday night, though. I'll retest in the morning and edit this thread.

Here is the funny thing about Fios in my area. Where im at all we get is Charter and AT&T DSL (Which i have). Across the street in the next complex they have Time Warner Cable and FioS. I'm in Fort Worth and they are Crowley, wish i could just run a line across Hulen Street and get their connection. Crappy that Ft.Worth isn't a Verizon city.

Got me beat a little on DL but my upload is 5meg :D

For $64.99 a month I can get a 20down/20up line, not too shabby

Well, I know this probably isn't much consolation, but they do plan to have FIOS nationwide eventually.

According to the tech I spoke with, once a house switches from copper to FIOS, they are on FIOS permanently and it is impossible to switch back. Once a whole block is on FIOS they come in and tear out the copper.
