Finally I have some pictures:

As you can see the middle part has changed. Now it has the same design like the cuplex hd and offers a better flow. Also the base has changed. The structure varies from smaller pins in the center to larger pins on the outside. All together there are 400 pins.
It won't get a new name. If you order a cuplex XT di you will automatically get the new variant. Also the price is still the same.

As Kayin said: you can just buy a cuplex hd. The main difference between them is only the used material.

So the Cuplex HD have the updated base and mid-plate. the Di2 is just a HD with a blue acrylic top ?
EDIT : The Cuplex HD pics show no base place pic, just the exterior and mid plate -> http://www.aqua-computer-systeme.de/cgi-bin/YaBB/YaBB.pl?board=7;action=display;num=1220474039

Very nice! I like the new pin design. :up:
@bigslappy:
It's not terribly restrictive (cuplex HD tested). Less so than a supreme and similar to a GTZ.

And a nickel/silver mid-section vs. Delrin.
I am curious as well if the HD has the same base as the new DI?

Is there any plans to bring the updated base to the Cupled HD or is that a Di2 exclusivity ?

There are no plans to do that because we don't want to have two blocks which are almost the same expect for the used materials.

Any plans to do the more restrictive midplate with the new base? There's a possibility of improved performance...
Also, will you make the new base available in silver as well?

In my testing the less restrictive midplate made for ever so slightly better temeratures, so i don't think it would make sense to combine the old midplate with the new base.
The difference in my test was minimal and could have been due to a random error, but it's safe to say that the more restrictive midplate doesn't deliver better temps.
