toying with the thought of getting a 920 instead of a P2 and was wanting recommendations on a waterblock and rad for the 920. I have a Lian Li V2000+2 case with a 120mm fan right next to where the processor sits. Would a sinlge 120mm rad be enough to cool the 920 when its overclocked?

360mm for i7 overclocking. IMO.

dont actually have a place to put a tripple 120mm rad in this case, dont have the craftsmanship currently to mod it either.

1x120 + 1x240.
or
140mm.2 rads - which would likely do the job with a good block+pump+rad
or
480mmsquare on a door panel.

is a 120 going to be enough? If not, then i need ideas on where i need to mount a 240 or 360 in my case.

my suggestion:
360mm for i7 overclocking. IMO.
alternates:
1x120 + 1x240 or 140mm.2 or 480mm square
worst case:
Black ICE Radiator GT Stealth 280

Frostbyte... 120.1, don't even attempt it.
IMO, 120.3 at the minimum.
Zlojack has been having hell keeping temps under control with a ThermoChill 120.2.
