Not sure where to put this....

So Im in the market for a new laptop as the one I have is on its way out. I do have two and they are both Dells and Im using the better of the two.

So my budget is $1000 or less....This will be used for basically the internet and such no gaming or photo design etc....

Please post up some suggestions...Thanks

Nice job working with that budget ;)

@trj: I highly suggest getting a nice one straight from Newegg. I have an Asus and its great! Plus, for the same stuff, they generally come out cheaper. Take a look and see what fits in with what u want

Yea Im planning on it but I the drives are not available to us yet as the demand is too high for them. They were for one or two days but they sold out. I think they are saying mid to late march. I plan on getting one 80g and one 160g....

No cooling pad needed at this time as this thing is to fucking big to sit you ones lap and it runs pretty cool. LOL...This laptop will not be crunching...:D

Thanks.....This was an option we it was purchased but all the re-sellers decided not to do it as it was way to difficult as the whole laptop needed to be disassembled.

Ya I ordered that option with mine. They used about 3 times the as5 actually needed. But if it runs cool and u can't just take off the backplate I wouldn't worry about it I guess. Just it's pretty much gauranteed they didn't sit there amd spread a very thin layer. I kinda like taking a laptop apart : p.
