Fuck is wrong with vantage

i tired running vantage. stock clocks and my previous overclocks on this card.

reinstalled vantage twice.

that BS error keeps coming up. wont even finish the run. its always right after the space ship sequence and right before the barrage of tests start. also my FPS seems REALLY fucking low in some spots. like 12fps during the opening scene of the chick on the jet ski as she makes her way into the cavern. also space ship scene drops like a motherfucker during a good bit


tried different drivers all the way back to like June of last year. shit is ridiculous

Hmm I havent had a single one while using it lol. Im using V1.9.1

When I say "a lot" I mean that I've had it crash a few applications consistently, specifically Source engine games (TF2, DOD:S, L4D, etc.).

i could get struck by lightning twice at fucking once while taking a shit.

updated Direct X, reset OC on CPU and GPU to stock levels and reinstalled vantage again from a frea=sh copy DLed from website. (used major geeks before now i used tech power up), also ran it with evga precision off. still no fucking dice. same error right after the space ship scene. since the error mentions shaders could it be my card is borked?

no i don't unfortunately. my 2nd 260 took an epic shit when i was trying to install a waterblock on it and later snapped in two. im waiting on the new nvidia cards to upgrade and leave this 260 as a physx card.

Too fast my ass. I even cleared the bios and restabilized my oc. Fucker likes to sit there at startup for a full minute before I can do anything. Gets into windows tits quick just to sit there.I also made sure to turn off all non essential programs. Wipe and reinstall it is.

If your processor and video card aren't overclocked then that's actually about the score you should be getting, at least in my experience.

As for your 23k+ score, that was probably with GPU assisting in the CPU physics tests (which invalidates the score), and with two OC'd GPU's. Multiple GPU's make a BIG difference, as does overclocking.

Maybe FM is just dicking up the links and I'm looking at the wrong score though....
