I could not think of a clever name like the rest of you. :D

I really like the G70 case as it has room at the top and bottom of the case and you can put the PSU wherever you like.

Many put the 120.3 rad in the top and PSU at the bottom, but not me. I wanted space at the bottom for pumps and reservoirs and just plain ol' room to work in.

However there are sacrifices. By keeping the PSU at the top, then I could only fit a PA120.2 there.

Here it is stripped down.

Made access holes in motherboard tray to help hide wiring. Later on added another large hole over CPU area for easy access to water block changing.

I like how the whole top comes off. Much easier to work with. I hated the exposed USB/Headphone/Firewire connection ports on the top. So I made sure my radiator hole cut took them out.

The Bitspower temperature probes fit perfect in the EK reservoirs.

All the water blocks mounted. Yes, that is a STORM on the CPU. MCW-30s (Hard Mounted) on NB and SB along with EK MOSFET blocks.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2507.jpg

MOSFET backplates taken from the heat sinks from the original motherboard. You can see the chip imprints on them. Need these big time to get good uniform contact.

First arrangement with a single loop. PA120.1 coupled with front 120mm intake fan.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2579.jpg

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2581.jpg

Started with an Ultra X3 1000 since I liked the PSU wires being thin and black. Turned out to be noisy and tried to mod the fan. No luck. Eventually went back to good ol' Seasonic M-700. Nice and quiet.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2583.jpg

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2585.jpg

Tried the Raptors in the 3.5" slots, but they got really hot with no air circulation. Eventually moved to the 5.25 slots.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2587.jpg

Performed some flow tests in the kitchen. One pump.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2594.jpg

Two pumps in series.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_2607.jpg

After ages of not touching this project, I finally had some time to work on it again. Added some Paxmate to make the inside pretty. Re-arranged to make two separate loops.

I really like the UN pump brackets.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_3409.jpg

Finally put in the Quad core and Fusion V2. Goodbye STORM, you have been a good friend, but not cut-out for quad core.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_3410.jpg

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_3411.jpg

I did not like how so much thread stuck out the top of the thumb screws. I ground them down some for a cleaner appearance.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_3413.jpg

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_3415.jpg

All wired up and ready to go.

The EK RES 100s installed originally did not work very well with my system. Too short. I had a hard time bleeding since the pump was sucking in the water as fast as it arrived. I went back to the EK RES 150s and all was well.

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_3423.jpg

http://i418.photobucket.com/albums/pp269/Snyxxx/Watercooled%20G70/IMG_3427.jpg

I originally had the return to the reservoir at the top. But I ultimately decided I like it better at the bottom.
