This case has been sitting in the computer shop I work at, in a corner with a price of $10 on it. It's been speaking to me, and I finally decided to do something with it.

Going to paint the whole thing black.
Ordered a i5 and some watercooling gear, and a 5850 to go it. Nothing extreme, this is going right back in my shop with a bigger price tag on it. Some lucky kid will get a cool computer for christmas :D
Will update when purolator gets here :D

Welcome to RRTech! This looks to be an interesting build! Make sure to give it a cool paint job!

It does look interesting. Seems quite roomy for water cooling.
I expect to see at LEAST two loops in that.

You could probably fit at least a Mo-ra and and another 560 Rad on the side

Hm... Well, I guess if we go by what you said "going right back in my shop with a bigger price tag on it. Some lucky kid will get a cool computer for Christmas", you wont want to be adding a lot of expensive high end components.
Try to get two ThermoChill PA120.2's going on in there. Just my two cents.

I've got a few recommendations:
FIRST, DUMP the Enzotech EVERYTHING -- their stuff isn't anywhere near as good as stuff from BP/EK/Watercool. If you need a cheap CPU block, look at the EK Supreme LT, and the HK v3 LT (Worst case, go with a Swiftech GTZ -- I've seen these in the 40 USD range, and they're better than an Enzotech block...).Go with a board from Asus, or better yet, EVGA. MSI boards aren't the best out there. Third, get a GOOD single-rail PSU, like a Corsair TX/HX unit -- these can be had fairly cheaply if you look hard enough (I've seen the 650/750W TX units [non-modular] on sale for around and under 80 USD on several occasions). Go with a DDC over the D5 (go with an MCP 355 instead of an MCP 655).
At the very least get a GOOD PSU, and GOOD WC components -- nothing from Enzotech or FUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU for example -- as you don't want the buyer to come back to you when the CPU block decides to self-destruct and start spewing water all over the inside of the computer....
I don't know how you're planning to mount the radiators, but what I would probably end up doing with that case is remove the 3.5" disk mounts from above the PSU, and then mount the rads blowing side to side in their place.

Well, it has defeated my dremel...
Did some work on it today, cut out the area for the radiator, got 3/4 way into the front 120mm intake, and my dremel packed it in :jackoff:
And I got one box of stuff in, other box should be in my hands on monday. Fucking video card got put on backorder, bitches said they had stock when I ordered it :bird:

As far as enzotech goes, I have a Luna on my i7 pc, and it is rock solid in my eyes.
The power supply was a shitty choice on my part, but it is still totaly adequate power wise, I didn't reliaze it only had 1 6pin power for vid :(

on a sidenote, what is the name of that case there! looks very like the one i use in my mod:/ but i cant find a name for that one:(

Got a second box of goodies. Going to take the the case in to a body shop to see what they would charge to spray it black. Spraypaint is going to be a bitch. Got the front cover spaypainted, but it took a lot of layers :coke:
nice m8! i also just got my watercooling gear, and a new psu:P looking VERY much foreward to see this one, especially beacuse my case looks so similar to it!

Umm, screw you? The Enzotech LUNA is crap, but the Sapphire is a damn good block, and one of the cheapest. $35 on the egg, for performance close to the Supreme LT, and with MUCH better flow rates. And only older versions of the Sapphire had leaky issues. The Apogee GTZ isn't in it's class.
Go with the ASUS board, and there's a healthy 50% chance that the board will die on you. I'd pick a MSI or a Gigabyte board over that crap any day. Even an ASRock board. At least those aren't super-overpriced.

...only older versions of the Sapphire had leaky issues...
No offense, but as I see it, I can't afford to have potentially leaky equipment in my system. As I see it, enzotech makes cheap WC hardware; the problem lies in the difference between "cheap" and "inexpensive." Cheap hardware is to be avoided, while inexpensive hardware is to be sought out.
Well trust me, the Sapphire is rock solid. The LUNA is still a piece of over engineered, flashy crap. Won't leak on you, but performance is weak. But the Sapphire is tough as hell. I can't even pull apart the freakin' block. If it leaks on me, I eat my own words.
EDIT::
There were only two versions of the Sapphire. The hold crappy one with issues, and the latest Revision that fixed all those issues. And it's one of the top performing blocks out there now.

cutouts look really great. the top is going to be packed!

Guys? that's a standard full tower server case. Made by upteen companies. The likelihood that you 2 have the same brand is questionable at best. Hell, just last year, I actually threw one in the recycling.
Ebay is full of them for 12-30$
Specifications:
ATX (make sure that it's not AT, you won't like it)
Cold rolled steel, no ALU heavy bitch
Abundant room
varying number of 5 1/4 bays. 4-9
Color - Cream, Cream or Cream
Generally all fans holes are 80mm or less. 120mm's back then? why

My biggest gripe on older cases.
I mean cmon just use the 120s! they move more air quieter!

I'm pretty sure that's just a consequence of the flash reflecting differently off the texture of the plastic vs the painted metal. If you look at the second pic, it looks about the same shade as the case.

I love this i5 cpu. Overclocks so easy, and so cool :D I've cranked the vcore to 1.425v and it hasn't cracked 50c yet.
Got everything plugged in and plummed/bled. I ordered a new powersupply aswell, a pc power & cooling 750. Nice single rail. I have the same ps in my i7 system. My mothers pc that I built for her just died, go check it out and the ocz 650w that was in there is dead :bird: just over a year old. So the ocz 500w I was going to use is going to her.
Ok, the core temp is up to 57 now. Let's see if I can get 4.2ghz stable at this voltage. Pics to come when I get the new ps all wired in.

I did get a nice 28" Hanns-g lcd monitor hooked-up to it :coke: Grid plays f'ing nice, and FSX looks so beautiful. Can't wait to get the power supply in, then I'll show it off :)
