Still, his point about latency is valid. If I lived with a bunch of people, and we had a bunch of 360's on our local network, sure I'd be all over this. But I don't, and I'm not.

harriers instead of heliocopters....sounds silly. I'm not buying this one; I my brother bought it for ps3, and I wasn't terribly impressed. Not the mention the lame multi player PC setup.

Being a forward air controller, harriers and helo's aren't interchangeable. In fact, harriers fucking blow goats in battle. The have to carry an extra fuel tank on one wing which obscures the view of their lightening pod to one side. So they have to fly figure eights overhead, and they still only have like 30-40min time on station at a time. Not to mention their payload carrying capacity is literally half that of an F-18, even less if the f-18 has double rail mounts.

Give me a mixed section of cobras any day. Hellfire missiles are THE SHIT, especially the thermobaric version. They fly low and slow and make bad guys shit their man dresses.

K...sorry...I know it's just a video game. But they brag about realism.

f-15s are air force jets. Amazingly capable plane, but their close air support role is limited. The only times I ever dealt with air force jets were in TIC situations, and they were the closest planes in the air. They don't train for close air support as much as navy and marine air, and there is also a few procedural differences in calling strikes between the forces. So, it takes a little more time to get rounds on target with an f-15. F-15s aren't tasked often with CAS to start with; you're much more likely to see F-16s in that role.
