This was a quick and dirty OC. I haven't had time at work to fine tune anything or try and lower voltages. I am 99% sure I could lower the voltage quite a bit on this chip, I just haven't had time. Also i'm still trying to learn all the workings around this mobo. This is the first Intel board I've had the chance to use, and I love it. I know a few of you that have had awesome luck with Nvidia boards, but not me. After seeing how rock solid this board performs, Nvidia is a thing of the past for me. Of course, since i7 is out now, I don't really have to worry about that.
EDIT: Also, if you look in the Idle pick, you'll see the clock speed is lower than the Load pick..... WTH?? I've disabled speedstep, what am I missing?

post should include cooling method and some temps would be nice.
my read on this 45nm chips is that their temps are somewhat stuck in the 40s idling... is this true?

I got mine to 3.8Ghz on a rampage formula with 1.29v

Oh yea I got mine to 6Ghz on an ECS board.... :champ:
Na just kidding (obviously). I am sure this chip will go higher but I'm a little limited by the 8GB of ram right now.
I also have an unofficial temp ceiling of 55C that I like to go by. I'm pretty happy with 3.6Ghz at 1.2volts.
3.8 is really good, nice job!!

my q9650 on Slickslappy has been @ 3.6 for a month now had at 4.2 backed off cause i didn;t have the time to fine tune it

What voltage are you using? Thats a 9X on that chip correct?
So 9 X 400 if I'm not mistaken.

Nothing special but got me 20k in 3DMark06
Temps run around mid 50's full load, idle at low 30's

Here is mine I run her @ 3.7 24/7 right now. Gotta get some better ram to be able to get her up to Daily 4ghz.
This chip runs cooler/faster and less voltage then my E8500 clock for clock! :)

I think this chip is a fairly easy 4Ghz with the right ram.

Yeah looking at trading the E8500 I pulled out for some decent ram right now...
