I saw a post on that "other" forum, where a member here was asking about the restriction of BitsPower 45* fittings...

I have (46) Bitspower Rotary and Non-Rotary 45* fittings and can attest that their restriction is negligable...:fact:

In fact, I prefer to put the 45's together to make a low restriction, flowing 90*...:fact:

People, if anyone has questions regarding anything, ask here, it won't hurt...

If anyone has a question regarding BitsPower especially, ask me... Hell, I have over $600 invested in their fittings...:omg:

hehe

I may go with 2 90's instead..

It would be Fillport/D-plug/coupler/90 for ek return and output.

How do you get the non rotary 90's to face the direction you want them to and still tighten them down properly?

Easy, you start from the other side.

Bro, trust me. The dual 45's is the least restrictive bend you've ever seen...:hypno:

They might be the best thing since sliced bread...:fact:

You're spot on Eddie...

Those are the same fittings in both pics of mine. Believe me those puppies won't leak, they were tight as hell...:fact:

What's the ID on them? I know they're small, but these blocks were simply too good to pass up. Impingement chipsets? yes please...

Think this looks weird?? The height.
Both would shoot in and out of cpu with 90's.. D plugs and coupler. Though that coupler is the g1/8 g1/4.. I need a pickup a couple female to female bitspower couplers..

It looks nice, but using the dual 45's would look sick and perform better:up: :D

I'd have to lose the D-Plugs then because of the height..

Hello all. I see a lot of familiar names in here. A big thanks to RRR for putting this site together.

I grabbed a bunch of these new BP rotary 45s and the like. They really are nice and free flowing and they feel solid.

One problem I discovered is I cannot use any of my old barbs (Dtek, DD High Flow or EK) because the female thread bottoms out before the O-Ring engages. It looks as if you must use BP barbs (shorter thread depth) or use a spacer to reduce the male thread depth of the older longer barbs.

Not a big deal, but it kind of surprised me.

Say Eddie, what kind of flow do you get with those BP g1/8 adapters? I ask because I have a couple of the Aquacomputer Plexi-Tubes, but I've been hesitant to use them because they are not g1/4 like the delrin ones are now.

It's actually not bad.. 7-8mm ID.
Remember, even the eheim pumps also are using G1/8 coming out of the output.

And I'm gonna tell you, that MD-30 will give you roughly as minimal gains as 3/8 over 1/2 in most circumstances, while being huge, much more complicated, and a lot easier to get wrong.

Yes, it's indestructible. Never will debate that, it's a known fact. it just doesn't cover over the other facts I posted.

What we need is a pump simply designed for WC. Maybe we should make one.

That's not too bad...

Speaking of which, does anyone have a source for BP's version of the discharge adapter for eheim pumps? I asked Vincent, but he told me to go bug Sharka. Sharka though, never answers my emails and I think they're going belly up.

I'm still waiting for an email since June 2008 from Shady....errrr.....SharkaComputers.

For The Record, SharkaComputers is not and will never be, a suggested vendor of RRR.com, period...:fact:
