Majority rule, I'm running XP. Personally, I like it more than vista. Although, I'd love to get my hands on 7...

I like Vista better than XP and use it. Will switch to 7 later this month. 64bit of course.

by stuck i mean there is no better alternative than XP right now. Vista isn't worthy; its finally stable, but Win7 is a few days away.

hey john, how's it goin? been a while. I still have that broken LED from the XSPC Restop lol...
Currently:
I'm running W7 RC1 build 7100 (laptop)
Dad's running Vista 32 Home (laptop)
Mom's running XP 32 Home (desktop)
Sisters running XP 32 Home (laptop)
When W7 is officially released I'll be getting a copy of Pro or Ultimate for myself.
I'm also getting a free copy of W7 Home Premium (came with my new lappy :D) which I'll use to upgrade Mom's comp.
Dad may or may not upgrade, as technically it's not his (work bought it for him), so it's up to his boss if he upgrades.
I'm not sure whether or not I will upgrade my sister's laptop, as it might not be able to run W7 very well.... we'll see. :)
However, my hat is off to Windows XP. It was the strongest running Windows OS I've ever used, until W7.
I tried Vista when it came out, I went straight back to XP.
My dad's had nothing but problems with Vista.
Long live Windows XP and 7!!
My two cents.

Lol, I mean, I'm on XP by choice... I like XP. It's fast, it's smooth, it works with everything, and the interface is simple. Meaning, for a skinner like me, it's a blank canvas.
If I cared about DX10, I'd be on Vista... Actually, that's a lie. My XP was modified at one point and it could run DX10, but I removed it. I'm going to upgrade to Win7 though, because of things I'm BETA testing...

XP 32 all over.
-and one Win 98 rig. Re-installs only happen if the primary drive dies. That rig is a tank.

My son's computer runs xp pro so does my parents and my old dell in the closet... My cruncher's all run Vista x64, as they were recent builds after the release of sp1 and have not had any problems with it. One thing I never tested was if their was any diffrence between XP and Vista for running Blu-Rays.
What I don't understand is how Ms is charging like $220 for W7 Ultimate x64; but I can get a vista copy with a free upgrade for like 180$ @ the egg. Will this "upgrade" not be on the same Ultimate x64 edition?
