Look what I just pulled out of the dumpster at work today:

Two BI GTX360's, and a PC-A05B loaded with Biostar Tforce550, X2 3600+, 2Gb Corsair DDR2-800, and two WD 160Gb HDD's. :D

My boss just did the bi-yearly cleanout, the rads were for a little project that never got off the ground and the computer used to be the front desk box until it got upgraded.

Commence flaming.

edit: Oh, and the video card is a 7300LE for whatever that is worth.

Nope I've been eyeballing this stuff for a while just had to wait patiently for the next cleanout. I've snagged all kinds of awesome crap. Last time was a Meade 8" Schmidt-cassegrain w/tripod, and a set of JBL bookshelf speakers.

We were using the rads to build little external cooler units for some of our industrial machinery but ended up going with some MCR120's because we changed our process and didn't have such a high heat load anymore, so these got stuck in the storage cabinet for about a year until my boss decided to toss them and they consequently made their new home in my office.

I've always wanted a decent backup rig too, and this is perfect because the parts don't have enough resale value to warrant me selling them, but it is still a very capable rig (besides the GPU).

I may actually sell one but I am not sure yet. You can see the glob of crap by the ports on one, that is where we epoxied on a thermal sensor. That is probably the one I would sell.

Did you pop a hole in the Rad to do that ?

No its just a dab of glue on the outside of the rad. The water is in direct contact with the thin brass endcaps so it is still an accurate reading.

3 Years ago I came into pocession of 8 brand new PC's while working for a delivery company for a little extra Cash.
The PC’s were delivered to a buisness but they rang up saying we had damaged all of them in delivering them and would not turn on, so they were picked up again and returned to the depot, as the company I worked for at the time had to pay out the customer after coming back to the depot and not starting for the depot manager either (not the sharpest tool in the shed) they were considered write offs.
I hit up the depot manager about them and he put it bluntly "if you wanna get rid of that pile of shit for me, be my guest but if you take them dont fucking bring them back!" fine i thought, I took all 8 home, and opened them up, I couldnt see anything wrong, so I thought I would try one before stripping for parts.
Mind you they were brand new P4's Dual cores 2.66ghz, 2gig's of ram and 6800gt's in each PC, all identical except one that had 3 HDD's instead of 1.
After connecting one of the PC’s and turning on the PSU... guess what it worked, I tried them all and they all worked! I figured the customer and my Depot Manager didnt turn on the PSU power switch
I thought about telling my Depot Manager but thought better of it, as I wouldn’t of got anything in return, so I had myself some nice new PC’s to sell and give away to friends and family :)

So yes I can understand where Iandh is coming from, its a great feeling..
