Alright guys just got my case in today, the A+ Black Pearl. For my new build I've already have a bunch of great ideas for working out stuff but I've hit the proverbial wall today with trying to figure out what to do with the mid plate. I wanna do something with it. I just don't like how and where they have the holes for the wires routing up because I plan on running them behind the mobo try and around. I thought of doing something long the lines of what Murdermod has for the TJ07 with the acrylic light panel. But I'm sitting here trying to figure out what to do to clean it up some does anyone have any ideas??

Sure no problem here are a few. And yeah its the area that is splitting the Mobo area and the PSU area. Just to let you know I do plan on pulling everything out of the bottom, one of the hard drive cage's will be moved up to the bay area. So I'm playing with the idea of trying to either replace it or cut out a section of it and replace it with acrylic. And then light it from the bottom.

my black pearl is completely apart right now, waiting on the panels to cure from painting before clear coat.

post #15 shows where to cut panel to route psu\sata cables
there is not as much room behind this case compared to the black pearl.
-how many rads you using?,i tried to fit a tc 120.3 and a tc120.2 down below but i could not cleanly route the tubing
-i custom cut a piece 3mm aluminum for the psu bracket-it is mounted vertically-back side of case, and left a little room to mount my ssd above it with a un bracket
i moved the hard drives to the 5.25 area-did not like how it looked mounted
horizontally,so i made a mount using a silverstone and lili bracket-and they are now vertical-and will not protrude past those side panels.

I have this case as well but have not done anything with it yet. I look forward to seeing what you guys do with it. Someday I would like to mod mine, but I don't have the time right now to work on such a project.

I'm gonna be running 2 of Swiftechs new MCR420's in the bottom of the case. Thinking about running a C Channel up the side of the mobo tray and routing the cables thru that for the Mobo and video cards. Yeah I'll have to take a look at the hard drive mounting because I don't want them extending past the Blu Ray drive so that I can close off that area.
so will the rads be laying horizontally the length of the case,if so your psu bracket will need to be switched to the psu just below the midplate
-which pump or pumps are you thinking of using
-fyi you will have no room to shroud both rads and run 138mm fans

Nope I'm gonna have them standing up on each side of the case. And gonna cut holes out on each side for the air to escape. I'm going to be mounting the PSU at the top of the "lower level". I'm going to be doing series DDC3.2's for both loops.
So my younger brother came over to day. He works for Daktronics and builds the LED bill boards for a living to help me figure out what to do for the mid plate. We have came up with the idea of remaking the midplate out of white transparent acrylic. Gonna use some metal angle iron to make the needed supports to mount it to the case. And then this way I can light up the upper and lower level with the same lights.
