Can someone please recommend a fan controller for me?

It needs to be able to handle 14+ high speed yate loons. I'm not concerned with the number of channels, as long as the channels can easily handle multiple fans. Black anodized aluminum front would be a plus...5.25"...and not ridiculously bright lcd panel (if it has one)

The sunbeam controller can handle a bit.

I have the rheobus and love it. Its only 4 channels but it can provied a bit of power per channel. I have 3 fans on one and it doesnt even get hot.

chack the lamptron website. awesome stuff.

EDIT:

which one....rheobus extreme, or the windmill one?

normal sunbeam rehobus is 4x20W. extreme is 6x30W. windmill isnt as good as the other two.

Lamptron FC-2 (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/lablalfcfanc.html)

It can handle 45 Watts per channel and has 6 channels.

I have the rheobus extreme and don't recommend it, I've had several problems with mine.

So do I understand this right basically that controller can handle 3.8ish amps per channel at a full 12v? That would be like 9 low rpm fans or better? Or should I not be driving right now?

I have a 2 Rheobus Extreme 6 channels and it's fully loaded with 3 medium Yate Loons on each channel. It runs flawlessly like a freakin beast. I love them. The only thing I don't like are the bright LEDs. That would be the only reason I'd choose a 6 channel Laptron.

Yea just note that I only have the 4 channel and not the 6 channel extreme.
My only gripe like many is the blinding LEDs.

alright im new to the 58x fucking fans in a case so pardon my borderline salt water :obama:ness - can you hook up multiple fans to this thing per channel? like this thing has 6 channels. can you hook up say 4 or 5 fans too one channel and how the fuck do you do that?

Yes I have 3 fans on one channel on my controller.
There was a helpful diagram posted not too long ago on how to link them. Just solder the reds and blacks together and use only one yellow from one fan if you want RPM readings.

looks like that lamptron is right up my alley. 45w per channel is alot. My high speed yates draw .3 amps/3.6W. So you could theoretically put 12 fans on a single channel.

I can't seem to find the spec for max draw of the controller though. Something tells me that it can't handle the 270W potential draw with the channels maxed out. I don't think I'd be drawing more than 60W through it in the worst case though.
