Very cool Zenith..:clap1: I think I need to make a HUGE one of these for my case pictures.. How would a different color rice paper work? Or would it have to be white..

thanks Zenith, great guide.
I assume you are keeping the sides (last pic) to serve as hood? that's really clever, forgot about that when I made my tiny shoe box version.
I can't believe the work lights are so cheap! wow.. I thought it would run around 25-30 bucks... I still haven't seen anything similar locally, will give it one last try, and worse comes worse, will order a couple from home depot..

You are right!!!
One more thing guys... when you shoot on the box try to be on complete darkness, what i mean is no other light source than the lamps... and adjust the white balance to "tungsten" on your camera... and you will be shooting like a pro !!

Looks like a great, cheap and easy way for me to get my own lightbox. Defiantly going to be doing something like this the second I get a decent camera.

Thanks for this guide!
I'm thinking about making a lightbox with a white and one with a black background. Or maybe just one with interchangeable backgrounds. But I definitely want a lightbox for that nice smooth lighting you get.
