This is the first really easy clocking board I've had since my first Grouper. It's about as smooth as my old AN35N, as well. That makes it rank SOOOO damn high in my books. And lo and behold, for playing with simple settings, it works just fine to use tha auto-tune...

I can do 1600 1:1 with my GEiL Esoteria Limiteds, and I'm confident I could get more out of it. They're maked on the spreader 2.1v, but I did that at 1.9, which gives me a lot of hope...

I'll pull it up there and CPU-Z it tomorrow. Today has been a seriously bad day.

i have one of the ep45 ds3r, the ud2 boards, i've read somewhere that all Gigabyte's ep45 boards are good clockers...

From what I can tell, yeah, the UD3 just go further.

1600 1:1 is nothing to sniff at, but I know it has more in it.

May try to get that screenie...

1720 FSB, 1:1 on PC6400, still haven't reached rated vDIMM.

Gonna try to push the multi to 9, and get almost 4 GHz on air on stock cooling. Prolly a suicide.

I'm getting mine filled and bled for some real hardcore action, I wanna blow away 525FSB. Chipsets are underwater, as is CPU, and the heat limitation should be getting tossed right out the damn window.

Gonna test some now, then the CPU loop will be redone with a silver Cuplex Di2. Also, the pedestal is getting attached next weekend, as well as some hardcore fan wiring.

Anyone got some good settings for 500+ with a quad?

Just so you guys know...

If you drop 4 sticks in this, no matter what they are, you lose dual channel. Also, it fucking hates it. 8GB of RAM is a necessity for me (spend more time modeling than gaming) and this board just may not do it. Might have to become the new super-speed server.

btw kayin what revision mobo did you get. printed on the last pci slot near the rear panel. mine is rev 1.1

have not tried 8gbs yet, so am not one to speak on this subject.

i read rev 1.0 to be full of this disappearing ram problems...

bigslappy what mosfets blocks are compatible with this ep45-ud3p mobo... (ddr2)
am also considering the gskill 4x2gb rams...
