Guys so I bought a couple of MCP 355's from http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ awhile back (4 months to be exact) well one of them died last week... I was going to try and RMA it but wasn't to sure if it was possible because my location might be considered International, and I had modded the pump by shortening the wires when I first got it. So I emailed Gary and told him my predicament, thinking there was no way in hell I'd get an RMA. :(

Now for the the reason why http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/ is the FUCKING BEST LC SHOP ON THE PLANET AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FUCKING OUTSTANDING! Gary is going to setup the RMA for the dead pump, mind you that 4 months has passed and I told Gary that the wires had been modded, but wait there's more! Gary is also going to send me a new pump to boot! Now how's that for customer service :D

sorry for the long post... But how many shops take care of their customers like that :) I can tell you not many my fellow RRTech brethren :bird:

I've tried a few other vendors in the past, with little issue, but Sidewinders has been a cut above the rest so far even in my limited experience - be it going out of his way to get an item shipped same day or the nice hardware stock updates he posts on this forum.

For some damn reason, I thought First Class from the USPS was the same thing as standard airmail. Well, I guess that's not the case. My Sidewinder order is gonna take two to three weeks to get here! :/

They need better terminology. "First Class" to me means "special priority". I mean, is there a second class? A third class? In that event, then I guess second class would be "Yeah, we'll get around to it someday", and third class would be, "You wanna pay us to destroy your shit? Okay!"

Box of goodies from Sidewinder showed up today. Four days from Gary, to the middle of Norway. I was very, very surprised, to say the least.

It wasn't a large order. I'd never dealt with Sidewinder before, but everyone loves Gary, so I thought I'd give it a shot. The order did contain some key BP fittings though, necessary for the assembly of my cards in SLI. Gary carries three lengths of the BP D-plug, which bridges the cards. I didn't know what length I needed, so I ordered all three. Also ordered some BP barbs and other comp fittings. They're all very lovely. I bought them just as extras, but I'm tempted to use them in place of my EK stuff.

Definitely happy with Sidewinder and will certainly buy my shit from Gary again.

Funny you say that about Hanky Panky because I tried to send a couple things back on a build I was doing within 1 month of buying it, I changed theme color of build so I called only got the answering machine left a message. After 3 days of no call back I emailed them, and off the bat cold, rude email tone back saying we normally do not do this but only this time we will. I said look how much stuff I buy from your store $4K. All the items were new never opened or used. I just had to revive this thread to reiterate how awesome Gary is.
I had ordered some things, one of which a Prolimatech Megahelams HSF. I was installing it and one of the bolts was problamtatic and non-functional and did not work with any of the nuts. I got a little mad and anxious and tried to screw the nut on harder and ended up breaking the bolt off into the nut.

I emailed Gary late one night because I have been really busy starting my new job this week and everything else going on. Well, he responded that night and shipped out the replacement bolt and nut. Even though the bolt was non-functional, I offered to buy the replacements since I had broken it but he shipped the replacement anyway.

I know I'll always look at Sidewinder computers first when looking to buy new parts.

And to add yet another note..I needed to get another King 7520 flow meter and a couple other parts to finish my t3 testing and ordered them Monday around 1:00 PM. Gary said he probably wouldn't get them shipped that day because he was getting caught up from the weekend. I explained my situation, told him I understood and asked him to ship them as soon as possible so I could finish/post my results. I was expecting them Thursday.

Sure as shit, about 4 hours later I received an email saying the parts had been shipped, and they would arrive here tomorrow Wednesday. Just goes to show you how hard this guy busts his ass for incredible customer service. I just can't help but support a guy that goes out of his way, and busts his ass continuously to build his business thru superior customer service and best business practices.

I think of all the orders I've place at Sidewinders, maybe once my order hasnt shipped that same day (unless I order in the evening). Great service Gary provides. I just place another order from him, I'm sure it'll be there by this weekend even though I can only pick it up next weekend (im at canadian shooting championship this weekend).

I love that hes got that super cheap USPS First Class option. Two fittings and some fan filters just $3 to ship. At PissPCs it would have cost $8 more for the fittings and filters plus $7.

I work for Uncle Sam overseas. I have an APO address which allows me to receive mail, but many times it's a pain in the ass to get things quickly. I'm very used to waiting upwards of three weeks depending on the item and from where it's shipped.

Last month I ordered several parts from three different vendors (Sidewinders, Petras, and PerformancePCs) since none of them had everything I needed in one place. So, I ordered them all one after the other within about 10 minutes of each other. 5 days later I received the Sidewinder order (Excellent)! The next day I received the Petras order (also very good timing). The last one took two weeks... unacceptable!

Throw Gary yet again some silly noob at Aqua Computer not blaming you Sven… But what shit are you guys smoking in Aqua HQ … It must be some pretty strong shit because how can someone put in a label up package G 1/4". And then send G1/8”…. But thank god I have Gary to my rescue... We both sent you email’s explaining the problem also red I think... I did ask him to but not to worry...... But thanks anyway

Well after me looking into shipping cost… fuck that shit of for a start it was something like $100 plus with FedEx or ups for a few nozzles what needed for the reservoirs because of the G1/8” fitting anyway Gary going to do some new holes so then I can use them … and that’s after hour shit when the guy should be seat back relaxing after a long day at the office ..


I’m just more than happy now because Gary just done something els also think you guys are going to be knocked back because Gary just given me 2, Blacknoise Noiseblocker Multiframe S-Series M8-S1 17.6 CFM.. reason being because there the only 2 in stock he has now also I’ve been waiting along Plus Free Sample - Feser Fittings - Similar to BP-LRV, 8 pieces. And my custom cable and now that’s what I call good dam service...
